The new group leaders of Correct Communication Project gathered together with the training organized by Young Lives Foundation on October 26-27, 2009 in Istanbul Bilgi University. Sociologists and educators joined our team of group leaders, which used to compose only of psychologists, consultants and psychological counselors. The number of our group leaders increased to 34 in the new term. In the training, the group leaders of Correct Communication Project of Young Lives Foundation met the spirit of the youth. We wish for many a training with this dynamic structure.

The oral history project ‘Once Upon a Time in My Street,’ executed by Young Lives Foundation with the main sponsorship of Haberturk and with the contributions of Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency, has begun.

The project will consist of interviews made by 1000 high school students from 30 high schools with people who live in their own districts and neighborhoods and who have witnessed the past of the regions. The project will be executed in 10 districts of Istanbul, namely, Beyoglu, Fatih, Eyup, Kagithane, Sisli, Maltepe, Uskudar, Zeytinburnu, Beykoz and Sariyer.
